The conditions governing the admission of doctors to practice in New Zealand were governed by the Medical Fractilions’ Act. of 1811, which provided that before doctors could practice their profession here they must prove their possession <>l certain qualifications. Idle flovernment had not the least intention of allowing any men who did not possess these qualifications to go upon the medical register in the Dominion.
