NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. RACES AT NEW PLYMOUTH. 9th AND 10th FEBRUARY. 1916. On 9tli and 10th February, passenger trains leave Ilawera 6.30 a.in. and 7.25 a.in.. Eltham 7.20 a.in, and 8.13 a.in.. Stratford 8.10 a.in. and 8.53 a.m.. Inglewood 9.3 a.in. 0.18 a,nr. arriving New Plymouth 10.5 a .in. and 10.16 a.nr Return trains leave New Plymouth 6 p.m. and 0.35 p in. for Hawera, Waitara and Whangamoinona.

The usual 1.25 p.m. train. New Plymouth to Hawera, will NOT run. On Dtli February, (he usual timetable on the Toko Branch will be suspended. Passenger trains will leave Whangamomona 5.(5 a.m. and 11.45 a.in., ,To Worn 6.40 a.in. and 12.40 p.m.. arriving Stratford 5.20 a.m. and 12.25 p.m. Passenger train leaves Stratford 9.0 p.m.. after connecting with trains from New Plymouth, arriving Whangamomona 11.20 p.m. On 10th February., the usual 7.0 n.nij train will be delayed to leave Stratord 9 p.m., arriving Whangamomona 11.20 p.m. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available or return until 12th February, will be issued to New Plymouth as under: — , On 9th February, from Hawera, Whangamomona. and intermediate stations bv any trains, excepting 6.0 a.m special train from Wanganui.

On lOtli February, from Hawera mlid intermediate stations by morning trains. Those Excursion Tickets are not available bv Down Mail trains on 10th and 11 Mi February, excepting that ■passengers for stopping stations south of Hawera mav travel by Down Mail train on 11 Hi February.
