It is suggested in some quartern that the Young Turks assassinated Prince Yussuf. It is stated that his cousin successor, Wabidedit, is unlikely to live long, as he is even more hostile to the Young Turks than Yussuf.

The Review points out that Prince Vassal' opposed the arrest of deputies hostile to Enver Pasha, and was an obstacle to the ambitious Enver Talaat Djemal, and considers that if it was a case of suicide it was opportune.
