NEW ZEALAND RAILWAYS. HAWERA RACES, 2nd and 3rd FEBRUARY. 1916. ON 2nd and 3rd February, a passenger train leaves Hawera 6 p.m., Racecourse 6.15 p.m., for New Plymouth, Waitara. and Whangamomona. The usual 7.48 a.ra. train from New Plymouth will stop at Racecourse to set down passengers and the usual 12.50 p.m. train from New Plymouth will stop at Racecourse to pick up passengers. On 2nd February the ordinary train service on Toko Branch will be suspended. A special train will leave Whangamomona 7.15 a.m., Te Wera 8.10 a.m., arriving Stratford 9.55 a.m. and connecting with train for Hawera. A special train will leave Stratford 7.36 p.m. for Whangamomona, after connecting with 6 p.m. special from Hawera. A train will leave Stratford 10.25 a.m„ arirving Te Wera 11.50 a.ra., and will return, leaving Te Wera 12.15 p.m.. arriving Stratford 2 p.m.^ On 3rd February the usual 7 p.m. train will be delayed to leave Stratford. 7.36 p.m. for Whangamomona. Holiday Excursion Tickets, available for return until sth February, will be issued to Hawera Racecourse, from New Plymouth, Waitara. Whangamomona and intermediate stations on 2nd February, and fr6m New Plymouth. Waitara, and intermediate stations by morning trains on 3rd February. ■ These Excursion Tickets will not be LADIES’ BAGS, BRIEF SAGS, GLADSTONE BAGS, FIELD CLASSES, and all such Traveller’s requisites available by the Mail trains BY ORDER.
