THE SHORTAGE OF TONNACE.

In the Home of Commons. Mr Runeiman announced that in order to relieve the strain on tonnage, the Government had decided to cut clown nonessential, imports. Paper and 'P«'p grass would be dealt with first, Raw tobacco,. building materials, furniture woods, veneers and some fruits, would shortly be prohibited.
