AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. "A CHILI) OF GOD." The chief attraction with to-night's change of programme at His Majesty's Theatre is a Western drama entitled "A Child of God." The film, which is 4000 ft. in length, depicts the redemption of a rough ranchman through the transforming power of God's word, and the love of a pure woman. It is a beautiful play, m which the rancher, the school-teacher, and the Minister are the central characters. The railroad wreck which occurs in the latter portion of the picture is thrilling in the extreme. A 'screaming Keystone is included in the programme, entitled "Gussle's Backward Way," in which Syd. Chaplin is the principal character. Supporting films are: "Inspection of N.Z. Hospital Ship Maheno," "Charming Switzerland," "War Gazette," and "Cause for Thanksgiving."
