WATERSIDE WORKER STABBED TO DEATH.

Auckland January 23

A shocking murder occurred on Saturday night, about 9 o'clock, when Horatio Heywood Frecherville Ramsden, aged 25, a waterside worker, was found etabbed in eleven places, at Hillside, Crescent, Mount Eden. The body was found under a clump of trees by the footpath. The discovery was made by Charles Niccolls, who heard cries for help. He went to investigate, in company with his auntarid saw a man run from the trees and make off. On entering the trees the body was found, covered with blood, life being then extinct.
