WHANGAMOMONA COUNIT COUNCIL. NOTICE OF SPECIAL ORDER. NOTICE is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Whangamoniona County Council held on Wednesday, the twenty-fourth day of November, 1915, the following resolution was passed, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the Council to be held on Monday, the 24th day of January, 1916, at 1 p.m., at the Council Offices, \vuangamomona:— That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by section 16 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Putikituna. Road, £ISOO Loan Special Rating Area hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than three-fourths of the ratepayers in the said special rating area, the capital values of whose properties as appearing in the valuation roll of the said County is collectively greater than the capital values of the properties of the ratepayers who did not so consent, the Whangamomona County Council hereby resolves, by way of Special Order, as follows : For the purpose of forming, culverting, and metalling the Putikituna road from the Tangarekau River to the junction of the Kohuratahi Road, or for so far as the money will go, in conjunction with a £ for £ subsidy, the Whangamomona County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £ISOO at 4.1 per centum per annum for a period of thirtysix and a-half years, and declares that the cost of raising the said] loan and the first year’s interest] on the loan shall be payable out of the moneys so raised.
