FOX7ON MEETING.

(Notes by Cicero). The annual meeting of the Eoxton Racing Club opens tO|-morrow, and some capital racing should be witnessed. The Hack Hurdles contains the 'names of nine moderate performers. Cyra ran an excellent race on the last day at Awapuni. and may receive most trouble from Cokely. A baker’s dozen figure in the Electric Hack, Need ran two splendid races at Wairarapa, and should take some beating. 4 ladineau and Braemore t on form,, look next best. Of the ten acceptors for the Cup Manioroa appears best, although Princess Moutoa and Master Achilles must have fighting chances. ‘Thirteen are carded in the Awahou Welter. Parana, who showed great promise at 'Taranaki and Stratford meetings, will be a starter, and is sure to run well forward. Possibly Rerehau and Pom'eroy will extend the Taranaki horse. Five only paid up for the Anniversary Handicap. As Need has winning form

as a recommendation, she may start favorite. Of the eighteen acceptors for the Dash Handicap, Zion and Martlet should start favorites. The 'Herrington Welter bears an open appearance, with Master Achilles a starter for the Cup, Black Lupin will carry the bulk of investments, and provided the unreliable chestnut does his best,, a better choice could not be made.
