| The scholarships Junior National re ! suits show Taranaki is quite abreast of other districts in educational-mat-ters. Taranaki gains twelve and Wangantii eight. This examination is tlie real test of the efficiency of the top primary schools, and a high standard is necessary for .success. Stratford people will be pleased to know , That there were seven successful candidates from the Stratford School and also one from Ngaere and one from Jnglewood. It is certainly pleasing to find our local schools maintaining the reputation for good work and especially to Mr F. Tyrer and his teaching staff is credit due. It 'is possible oilier scholarships may be awarded by the Education Board.
