BANDIT MURDERS IN MEXICO.

Following the murder of eighteen Americans who were shot by followers of the Mexican bandit Villa, the United States Senate is considering the question of intervention in arms in Mexico in conjunction with other South American countries. Mr Lansing has telegraphed the de facto Government of Mexico demanding punishment of the bandits. DECEMBER RAIDS ON LONDON. TWELVE UNSUCCESSFUL ATTEMPTS. EFFECTIVE BRITISH DEFENCES. (Received Noon.) New York, Januaiy 12. Dr. W. H. Vincent, of the Colonial Medical Corps, who arrived from England, reports that twelve Zeppelin attempts to bombard London during December failed, owing to Britain's effective defences.
