CLOTHES FOR THE BELGIANS.
[To Thb Editob Stbatpokj* Pout. 1 , Sir,—This morning three cases of clothing were packed, and this afternoon were consigned, as usual, to Captain Bilton, No. 3 Harbor Both'd Shed, Wellington, and Mr Shalloross. General Secretary of the Belgian Relief Fund, was written to by the Stratford acting-secretary, advising him that these cases were specially marked "Clothing for the Belgians in Belgium." These three eases are the last that will be sent for some months to come, and every effort was made by the Belgian Committee to collect all spare clothing from those willing, and able to give. From afar, a specially large, and good box of clothing was received from the Ladies' of Xgaere, and a very nice assortment from the Children's School at Douglas, and from others too numerous to mention, and many
parcels were received, or three average sized drapery cases could not have
ioen lilled. I have to thank Mr Mark for the
use of his motor car in collecting the parcels, and Messrs 11. H. Robinson and Mr S. M. Porritt for their effi-cient-labour in packing. 1 am, etc
G. N. CURTIS, liairman, Belgian Relief Committee Stratford, 11th January, 1016.
