H!S MAJESTY'S THEATRE. “WHOM. THE GODS WOULD DESTROY.” The chief item on a remarkably wellbalanced programme screened at His Majesty’s Theatre last night, was a Lubin dramatic masterpiece, entitled, “Whom the Gods Would Destroy.” It is a story which sweeps along with great dramatic power, written with extraordinary skill and a knowledge of humanity. “Making Bread in Persia” was exceptionally interesting, whilst “The Australian Gazette” depicts Australia as it is to-day from a military standpoint of view. “The Decoy” -aid “The Level” are two fine dramatic studies, and the comedy section of the programme is well filled with “Bloomer and his Dog” and Mhat a Cinch.” On Wednesday and Thursday next an exceptional war film will he shown entitled “A Hero of the Dardanelles.”
