NO LIVES LOST : : TWO INJURED The High Commissioner reports-: London, January 9 (5.30 a.m.) The Admiralty announces that the second-class battleship King Edward VII, struck ;i mine and owing to the heavy,seas she had to he abandoned. 'She sunk shortly afterwards. There was no less of life and, only two of the ere\y were injured.

' A British submarine from the Sea of Marmora entered the Golden Horn, and attacked and considerably dam-aged-the arsenal. The workmen and inhabitants became panic-stricken.
ITALIAN STEAMER MINED.
London, January 9
An Italian stamer has been mined in the Adriatic, and two hundred persons perished.
