MATRIMONY IN FAVOR.

A LARGE INCREASE. The marriage market was active during the latter part of last year. Comparative figures disclosed an unusually large number of young people were entering the bonds of wedlock. This increase is reflected in the vital statistics for Wellington for 1910, which were issued last week. The births show a falling off, compared with 1914, of 63, while the marriages show a total increase of 245. During the last quarter alone there were 176 more marriages in 1915 than in the preceding year. Detailed figures are as follow;—
