OFFICIAL PROGRESS REPORT. i The High Commissioner reports:— London, December 28 (2.5 a.m.) In Belgium the enemy’s parapets were destroyed and a blockhouse blown up. Yesterday we exploded a mine at Hill 140, and the enemy was unable to occupy the crater. In the Champagne district the enemy’s attack was repulsed. In the Vosges, ’ north of Hinge, an enemy battery casemate wash destroyed.

HartiriansweilleTkopj. On Sloped Hill at Kehfelseu an attempt of the enemy to leave his trenches was stopped by a French curtain of fire. The Germans state that the French advanced early this morning to Hil/etein.
