CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.

Telegraph Office will be open on Xmas Day from 5 to 5.39. Dosing Day 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. New Year’s Day at 9 to 10 a.m., and 7 to 8 p.m. Postal branch.—Saturday, December 25th (Xmas Day), and Janu- , ary Ist (New Year’s Day), will bo 1 observed as close holiday. Monday, December 27 (Dosing Day), the Post Office will be open in all its branches (escept M.O. and S.D.), from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Telephone Eschauge.—Sunday hours will be observed on Xmas Day, Dosing Day and New Year’s Day the Telephone Eschauge will be open as usual. Mails usually despatched on Saturdays will be closed on Friday nights, December 24th and 31st, at 8 o’clock. On December 27th (Dosing Day) the usual despatch of mails up to 8 a.m. will be made. Pillar boxes, the receivers, and posting boxes will bo cleared accordingly. Counter Delivery. —Deliveries of town letters (ordinary and registered) will be made on Friday nights, December 24th and 31st, between 7 and 8 p.m. Letter Carriers’ Deliveries.—One complete delivery by all letter-carriers wall be made on December 27th.
