NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Messrs Hannah and Co. notify that owing to the difficulty in procuring lines of boots and shoes from home in any quantities they cannot possibly allow any goods to leave the shop "on approval" during the present Xmas tide. Cecil Arden, of the Empire Hotel, Stratford, in an advertisement in another .eolumn notifies the public that he has raised the tariff to 6s per day.
