Two British submarines torpedoed the Bremen, which was returning from a visit of inspection at the entrance to the Gulf of Finland. Paris, December 19. The French liner Djurpura, which was steaming with lights out near Malta, was sunk in collision with a British vessel. Splendid boat work saved ail on board except two. Copenhagen, December 19. Alarm has been occasioned by the action of two shipping, companies in stopping the carriage oi Danish-Anie-rican postal parcels. The Danish press points out that the .British discovery of an attempt to smuggle rubber justifies the action.
