AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. “THE RUSE.” To-night, the new , programme at His Majesty’s Theatre, features two star dramas, ‘The Ruse” and “The Headliners.” “The Ruse,” by the Broncho, is a stirring story which reveals the method by which a thieving set of company promoters endeavoured to rob an owner of his mine, and how their swindle was frustrated. “The Headliners,” depicts the trials and tribulations of a theatrical manager at Coney Island, the fire scene in which the theatre is burned down is spectacular -in the extreme. Other pictures to be shown are “War Gazette,” “Hash House Frauds” (Keystone), “Pimple’s Peril,” and “The Healers.”
