AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. OUR TROOPS IN EGYPT. “Our Troops in Egypt” is the title of an exceptional film to be screened [at His Majesty’s Theatre to-night. Mu various topical pictures views have been shown ol our boys iu Egypt, but (this film is singular iu that thousands (of the boys are easily recognised, and every phase oi camp lite is shown. The charges across the desert, the ! march past of the troops prior to t heir ! starting for the Dardanelles, and a ' dozen other wonderful scenes give an (impression of what the men have been (doing, and the hard training they (have pul in to make themselves capable of doing the work they have ac(complished. The lighter side of camp life is also illustrated, with views of the men climbing the great pyramids [and wandering among the wonderful 'ruins of the days of the Pharaohs. The other films on the programme are all extremely good. A series of very cleverly-executed animated cartoons are presented under the title of “Britannia Rules the Waves.” Hogan, the Keystone laugh creator, appears in a comedy full of the usual brilliant and amusing situations. A fine drama is also screened during the performance.
