NEWTON KING'S REPORT. On Friday, tho 3rd instant, at my Waiwakaiho yards, notwithstanding a small advertised entry, I hud a lull yarding of all classes, with a representative attendance of buyers. Bidding was brisk throughout, a very successful sale resulting. Prices obtained were:—Yoarling heifers £2 Is to £2 10s, 15 to 18 month heifers £2 15s to £3 13s and £4 for small lots showing quality, whilst two pons of 15 and 16 months exceptionally well 'grown Jerey hoifers yarded by Mr J. S. Connett made the nice price at 'hammer of £5 per head. These were 'a particularly fine lot of heifers and 'reflected much credit upon the venidor.
