Many thousands assembled in the Friedrich Strasse and tried to force a way to the Reichstag. Traffic was completely stopped for three hours and the police were unable to disperse the demonstrators. The mob continually cried: "Peace! Peace!" Some shouted insults at the Kaiser and his family. The Vorvvaerts announces .tint tuo censorship has forbidden its comments on the Reichstag debate. The Socialists express the most intense dissatisfaction at the action of the censorship.
50.000 RIOTERS IN BERLIN. MANY KILLED AND WOUNDED BY THE POLICE. CROWN PRINCE INSULTED. (Received 8.40 a.m.) Copenhagen, December 10. Fifty thousand participated in Thursday's riotous outbreak in Berlin. The police charged and killed and wounded many. The Crown Prince, who had arrived in Berlin, was subjected to insults.

The authorities at Berlin prohibited the publication of pan-German Conservative newspaper The Post for publishing articles opposing any form of peace unless Germany keeps all the occupied territory.
THE CONDUCT OF THE WAR. MORE "GINGER" WANTED. (Received 12.30 p.m.) London, December 12. The Times states that there i.s growing anxiety in Parliament on the' Government's conduct of the war. Many members of the House «f Commons and most Peers believe that more ginger is essential. Hitherto they refrained from criticism for fear they would injure Lord Derby's recruiting,, but definite action is «now certain to be taken in Parliament.
