Mr Martin Donoghue writes from Athens: The Anglo-French on Wednesday were fiercely attacked by a large Bulgar force at Blagucha Plateau. The enemy attacked tfie French flank, and the latter changed their front and met the onslaught. The Bulgarians encountered the British at Yalandovo, where the British repulsed four attacks, decimating the Bulgurs. Heavy reinforcements in the evening threatened the British right.

The Times states that if Bulgaria really, annihilated the French battalion at Petrovo they will be behind the French, and there will be the risk that they may cut the railway whereon the main body of the French are depending. (Received 1.0. p.m.),. London, December 10. Reuter’s correspondent with tfie French Headquarters in Macedonia reports all quiet on the morning of the 9th. The Bulgarians are claiming a great victory because they occupied’ the abandoned territory. The Bulgarians, who are numerically superior, are following the Allies. Comitadgis penetrated the Greek territory with a view to cutting the railway, but the Greek authorities frustrated the attempt.
