STRATFORD V. HAWERA. Six rinks from the ■ Stratford Club made the journey to Hawera yesterday and had a very enjoyable outing. The weather was ideal for bowling, and the contest was keenly friendly. A win was registered by the visitors with the substantial number of 20 points. Stratford was “up” in three rinks, Skips Smart, McMillan and Skoglund having that honor, while N. J. King made a tie of it, and Sangster and Masters went under. The following are the scores, Hawera players being mentioned first in each rink:— Black, Burrell, -Adamson, Hollard (s), 22. v.
