LOCAL AND GENERAL.
A general meeting of the 'Scottish Society will be field in Mi; McAllister s studio this evening. In the report of the Girls’ Friendly Society’s breaking-up function in the Parish Hall last Saturday, it was stilted that Mrs Penn was presented with a silver-backed finish. It was Mrs Finn (nee Ci. M. Baxter) who was the recipient, a typographical error making'the name read as it did.
