ONE DAY COLLECTION, £797,000.

THE DOMINION’S CONTRIBUTION

The subscriptions to the special oneday collection to the Red Cross totalled £797,000, whereof Canada contributed £220,000, Egypt £115,000. New Zealand £15,550, Australia £IO,OOO. Lord Landsdowne said the Dominions had given over £250,000 to the Red Cross.
