THE RUAHINE’S WOUNDED.
WELCOMED AT CAPETOWN.

The Ruahine called at port with 130 wounded New Zealanders who were homeward hound. They have been greatly benefitted by the voyage. They were accorded a welcome, and many prominent men, including the 'Gover-nor-General, the Hon. Viscount Buxton, visited them. The Automobile Club motored the woundeds to Table Mountain, and they were also entertained at luncheon, and at the theatre. Sir Percy Fitzpatrick, during an interval at the theatre, paid a tribute to the New Zealanders’ splendid work. General Botha, who was busy at the' Assembly, sent a message regretting his inability to attend, and stating that the presence of the New Zealanders was an inspiration to the South African manhood to follow their great example.
