METHODIST SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY.
On Sunday last, the Anniversary of the above School was celebrated in the Regan Street Church. The dnV was beautifully fine, permitting the children to come out in large numbers. •During the, day; three services were held, the Rev. C. H. Olds, of New 'Plymouth, officiating throughout. Mr Olds' addresses were especially good, 'and were much . appreciated by the 'children and adults. The children sang a ( fine collection of hymns, which they had practised for some weeks, 3 and under the able conduetorshin of Mr C. H: Lawn, assisted by an orchestra. '■ The items were very enjoyable. ! At the'afternoon service; the prizes .Won by the scholars were presented. In aif"sie classes, 'firsts, {and second prizes were awarded, and each infant was also
Last, night, the annual tea and concert! was/held.
