Mr'F. T.' Glasgow replaces Mr L. H. Whittle as manager of the Ohura branch of the Bank of New Zealand.
'Mr J. G. Hannah, second clerk in the Public Works Department, Stratford, has received notice of transfer to Nelson as chief clerk. Mr Hannah leaves to take up Ids new duties at an early 1 date.
A 'pleasing little, ceremony'(states the Te Puke Times) took place at Messrs R. King and Go's, establish*ment on Saturday, l November 27, after business hours, -whelV Miss Nellie Webber, a member bf the staff, who is shortly to enter'tlle bonds of matrimony, was presented by" her fellowemployees with a handsbnie coppermounted kerb, fire irons, and dogs complete. The presentation was made by Mr King, on behalf of the donors. Miss Webber and her fiance, Mr Barney, suitably responded, after which the, health of the happy couple was drunk with enthusiasm.
