THE COST OF THE REBELLION. United Press Association. Capetown, December I. The recruiting for the East African contingent has been completed. General Hotha’s son comnuuids a section. Mr Craaf, in introducing the loan estimates, pointed out that South Africa’s total war expenditure, including the cost ol the rebellion, had amounted to twenty-one millions. Considering Australia’s and Canada's war budgets it could not be’ said that South Africa was doing too much.
