THE SHIP OF FOOLS.

“COTT STRAFFE THEM!”

(Received 10.45 a.m.) New York, December 5

Mr Ford’s peace ship, which sailed amid shouts' of ridicule and laughter, has been popularly renamed “The Ship of Fools.” The vessel carries 190 people, including fifty-four journalists, fifty stenographers and secretaries (including Mr Ford’s o\yn ten), and three cinematographers. . The rooms are professedly decorated with peace emblems, and doves are scattered broadcast.

Mr Ford was weary-looking on his final interview with Mr Bryan,' who had hurried from Florida to give his benediction.

There was a disturbance as the vessel cast off, when some of the crowd cried, “Gott straffe them!”
