VCTSOLDIERS’ PITIABLE (Received &.30 a'.m-.) ' Rotterdam,' December 3. German wounded soldiers at Ghent say: “The Allies’ guns do not give us a moment’s rest. The 1* landers load, owing to frost, is almost impassable. Great discomfort prevails in the trenches, where shells pour in like hailstones. We are outfought and outranged in artillery.” The Germans are making great efforts to drain the \sel‘ tifinches. TWO BRITISH AEROPLANES MISSING.
London. December 2
A despatch from headquarters m France states that during four days bur forces successfully bombarded the German trenches, doing considerable damage. The enemy’s reply uas weak.
Our airmen brought down two aeroplanes and aviators bombed the Gei man supply depot at Mirannott, damaging the stores, buildings and railway.” Two of our aeroplanes that were on reconnaisanco work have not returned.
