States the Olmra Advocate; —A dirty sneak theft lias been perpetrated upon a local baker. It appears that be is in the habit of receiving eggs from the country. (Thank yon.)” The settlers of Olmra will regret (states the Advocate), to learn that Mr Donald McKenzie is suffering in Taumnrunni hospital, from three broken ribs (one of which has pierced a lung.) ft appears that whilst working for Messrs Williams and Unite, carting general stores from Ongarue. he was unharnessing his team of horses at Mahirakau, on Saturday last ; the last horse got fractious to join the others. The' horse knocked down Mr McKenzie and trampled upon him. One foot of the horse broke Mr McKenzie’s ribs and the other bruised ( his face.
