Messages from the Dardanelles Headquarters slate that Karl Kitchener visited Mudros, Helles, and An7M. and had a conference with ('Oiieiai Munrp. Kitchener was delighted at his welcome at Auzac, and in response to the men’s greeting, delivered the King’s message. Accompanied h\ General Bird wood, he strode up the steepest paths and along the filing lino at the Anzac position, frequently speaking to the men in the trenches.
