Shows at 1 Palmerston North, Wanganui, and 1 Hawora, and w,ere most successful m I Hll mission. ~ln most classes riie entries received have bebn beyond expectations. Tile Showgrounds are in splendid, .order, and the 'arrangements for the comfort and amusement,, of patrons, both adults and children aife well in hand. The side-shows, as usual, will be a strong feature at the gathering.;, Every effort has been made to make the- ring events as en--1 tertaining as possible, and 'to this end additional events V ill bo added to 1 the programme. The motor cars so | much in evidence as a means of con--1 veyance at previous shows will he specially catered for in an enclosure set aside for the purpose. The Stratford Band of sixteen players will' be I located in a central position oh the j grounds, and will play throughout Day. The catering for meals | and afternoon tea will 1 be in, the hands of Mr W. Dustin, of Wanganui. I Parties wishing to picnic on the' j grounds will be supplied with hot water free of charge. Favoured with fine weather, it may he confidently expected that a big! crowd of people will assemble from different parts of Taranaki at the Show on Wednes-' day, and particularly on Thursday.
