SOME Lines about to-days display. : . ■ ■; . - ■■ ■ n ; j.v, (From Our Special Reciter.) < Hawera, November 24. > For the opening day of the Hawera Show, excellent weather is being experienced, and a large crowd is on the ground. The prospects for People’s Day (Thursday) are very good. The cattle on exhibition are being, shown in splendid condition, and they are a credit to the exhibitors, some very fine animals being shown in the milking, section. Fat stock are a walking advertisement to the wealth of’the pastures ip tlje district. The President of the 'Stratford Show (Mr R.- Masters) and- Mr |E. Jackson (ex-President)., are present in ’ the’ interests': of their inhibition next Wednesday and Thursday, and they report- that the promises of support from exhibitors here are very gratifying. Indeed, every\hing points to a record number of entries being received. Appended are a few of the principal results known at time of despatching bulletin:— Shorthorn .
