REVOLT AT SHIRAZ. * BRITISH CONSUL AND OTHERS IMPRISONED. United Press Association. (Received 9.35 a.m.) London, November 23. Sir Edward Grey, in tbe House Commons, said that the Persian gendarmerie at Shiraz, the capital of the Farsistan province, revolted under foreign officers and made prisoners of tlie British Consul and other Britishers. ATTApK ON HAMADAN. COSSACKS SAVE THE TOWN. (Received 9. 35 a.m.) ■ Petrograd, November 23. Teheran advices state that several hundred gendarmes and irregulars officered by Germans made a night attack on Hamadan. Thq Cossacks were forced to retire, but saved the town.
