THE LORD MAYOR'S SHOW.
A WARTIME DISPLAY. United Press Association. (Received 11 a.m.) London, November 9. The Lord Mayor's Show was essentially a wartime display. The warmj esi welcome was extended to the Australians and New Zealanders by dense crowds. All the Australian branches of the Army which were represented were cheered. The infantry were in sun beaten contrast to the Home troops; also, the Australian Light Horse and the Xew Zealanders were well represented, and a contingent of several Maoris arrested the crowds' attention. Many of the Australasian wounded were looking on. Four German guns taken by the London Territorial's anil the Welsh Guards at Loos on the 25th September was the most striking feature; there was also a battery of motor and aircraft guns, an aeroplane, and a detachment of machines from the workshop. Many Canadian units, South Africans, and West Indians participated. Following the Lord Mayor was a recruiting column, in which the guards were a detachment of all the London Regiments. Lastly, came the Ambulance Section.
