■ United Press Association. (Received 9-30 a.m.) Melbourne, November 28. Tbe Governments of New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and Wtestralia, have arranged to pool their wheat harvests. Advances through the usual agencies will lie made, and thus competition for shipping space amongst the States avoided. The Government will require to soil the wheat, agents receiving commissions instead of buying and selling for themselves, and (he producer will be paid the average flat rate for the season, instead of on London parity at the time, with final adjustment a year hence. Millers may draw on the stocks stored for them at London parity at the time of requirement, or may purchase for the whole season at the same rate at Sydney. Sydney, November 8. Mr Holman announces that a Beer Garden on the Continental model will bo established in a portion of the space cut off from the old Government House grounds. Bottled beer and wines will be sold and concerts held. It is intended mainly for soldiers. (Received 9.25 a.m.) Brisbane, November 8. The manager of the Sugar Experiment Stations estimates that the Queensland yield will be .136,000 tons. The sugar districts are suffering severely from drought. -
