THE COST OF NEGLECT.
Think of the cost of neglecting your kindueys—it means that you are allowing kidney poisons to accumulate in the system, and these poisons cause violent pains in the back, dropsical swellings, urinary disorders, gravel stone, rheumatism, gout, lassitude, sleeplessness, inclination to worry, excessive thirst, irregular heart action, neuralgia. Tne genuine Doan's Backache Kidney Bills restore to strained, overworked kidneys, their lull power oi filtering the dangerous kidney poisotis from tlie bloou, and discharging them from the system. Bead tins case;— ( Mrs G. Murray, ’ Rosalind Street. Stratford, says:—“l suffered iruni backache- and other symptoms of kidney disorder for some time, being often so bad that i could scarcely get about. 1 always felt tired and languid and had no energy lor anything. Dizzy attacks also troubled me a good deal, and altogether 1 was really far from well. Alter using different remedies without deriving any benefit, J heard good reports ot Doan’s Backache Kidney Bills, so got a bottle to try them. The first few doses did me good, and 1 kept on with the Bills until 1 lost all trace .of my health troubles. It is two years since I was cured, and 1 have had no return of nr- eld complaint all that time, a fact that speaks volumes for the curative powers of Doan's Backache Kidney Bills." Mr Murray confirms the above two years later;—“l still have great faith in Doan’s Backache Kidney Bills and with reason, for they cured mo four ye’ars ago, and 1 have been as right as a bank ever since." It means that the call of the war has come home to the hearts ol men chiefly through the voice of religion, it means that not only the preachers and teachers, the writers and thinkers, but the whole mass of the Christian nucleus of the nation ami the Empire is being moved to support and believe iu the tremendous task the Allies have undertaken. .S - n * r x An interesting discovery was made hy the Wellington city police recently. A fireman from one of the Home boats iu port was apprehended ioi insobriety, and after he had submitted to the usual search by the officer at the police station, it was found that he was remarkable person in a way. Discharges found in his pockety proved him to be a survivor from two great marine disasters.
