THE ALLIED ARMIES. Unitid Pbibi Association. London, November 5. Salonika telegrams report that severe fighting between Serbians and Bulgarians is proceeding at the Babuna Pass, protecting the road to Prelipe and Monastir, both of which are still safe. Important British reinforcements have occupied the second French line, enabling . the French to rush contingents forward, thus putting the Allies’ right wing in an established position. Latest Serbian wireless messages from Scutari state that the adhesion of the armies is not imperilled, and they are making an orderly strategical retirement, refusing all decisive actions and carrying out valiant rearguard actions, wherein the enemy’s great losses continue, ° The Serbians in Macedonia are holding the line west of Uskub and Kuvulu along the Babuna Mountains. JLheie is no question of a general Serbian flight, though the population cannot be left to the mercy of the enemy.
It is expected that the Allied reinforoemens will .quickly improve the situation. BULGARIANS ENTRENCHING AT KRIVOLAK. SERVIANS FORCE BATTLE SOUTH-EAST OF NISH. BRITISH AND FRENCH JUNCTIONED. FRENCH FRONT EXTENDED. SERVIAN ARMY CORPS IN ALBANIA. (Received 10.20 a.in.) Paris, November o. A communique states: The Bulgarians are entrenching opposite Knvolak, two hundred metres from our outposts. The Servians forced a battle on General Bojadjelf south-eastward of Nish, compelling him to retreat and taking many prisoners. The British troops junctioned with the French at Strumnitza. The French front has been extended as far a s Babouua Range and eastward of Krivolak. A Servian Army Corps is stationed in Albanian territory to suppress al, y hostile movement.
