HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. AN INDUSTRIAL DRAMA. As long ns it is possible l for one man openly to steal the brains and labor of 'another, and for a thief complacently to buy his way to social and political prominence, the light between the poor employee and the rich employer will continue in much the saint 1 way as is depicted in “The Middleman.” a powerful drama in four parts, to la l presented at His Majesty's Theatre’'tonight. It is a living picture of social conditions to-day. The hand of the vulture-like employer presses heavily .on his overburdened employee. Albert Chevalier, the English character actor, fills the role of Mlenkarn. His work at moments reached a high emotional pitch. “The Middleman” has created one of the biggest film successes, known in Australia. Supporting films are: “"Western Norway in Snow.” “Vi :ir Gazette.” “forcing Dad’s Consent, and “Three Suitors and a Dog,” The usual matinee will be held on Savnrdav afternoon.
