THE CAUSE OF THE CRISIS. DEMONSTRATION IN HONOR OF VENiZ ELGS. United Ptutiw ahbociatioh. (Received 1.30 p.m.) Athens, November 4. The cause of the crisis was a remark by M. Vanakitsas, which M. Venizelo.s considered to lie an insult'to the Chamber, and insisted on an immediate apology- Thereupon the Premier. M. Zands, declared the Government’s solidarity to bo with the Minister of War. After M. Zaimis’s resignation had been placed in the hands of the Kins, Deputies held a demonstration m honor of M. Venizelos. VENIZELQS INTERVIEWED. “GREECE HAS ALL TO CAIN BY ALLIES’ VICTORY.” (Received 12.55 p.m.) New York, November 4. M. Venizelos, in an interview with a representative of the Chicago Tribune, said: “Our duty is to enter the war as a moral obligation to Servia. and endeavour to prevent Bulgarian predominance, and protect the ideals of the sm.aU nations against the ideals of a single great State. Greece has all to gain by the Allies’ victory.
