An unquestionable source states th<\t the food crisis in Berlin has become a panic. The poorer classes are on the verge of starvation, and the women are storming the shops and crying for food. Broken windows are everywhere. There is a / dearth of raw material, and an alarming shortage of glycerine for the /war. Factories are commandeering lard ami butter, while dead horses arp railed from the fronts and taken to the margarine factories.
