We captured several villages east and south of Lake (Jrath, and our lire scattered the enemy's furious coun-ter-attacks in Novoatexinatz district.

CERMAN REPORTS. (Received g. 25 a.m.) Amsterdam. October 25. A German communique states: The Russians forced a landing near DomeXess, but returned to the vessel before the approach of the Germans. We ejected the enemy from positions north-west of Dvinsk, and stormed lllutz, making prisoners of 3000.
