ENEMY THROWN BACK.

(Received 9.55 a.m.) Nish, October 12. A communique states: Our troops are admirably resisting the AustroGerman onslaught. Our offensive between the rivers Mlava and Morava r threw back the enemy across the - Danube. A detachment which reached Smedereyo (or Semendria) on the Danube south-east of Belgrade at the head of the Morawa Valley, were annihilated and a few who endeavoured to escape were drowned in the Danube. We repulsed all the German attacks on the Drina and Save fronts. THE BULGARIAN ATTACK. FIRST SHOTS ON MONDAY. THIRTY MILES NORTH-EAST OF NISH. (Received 8.4 a.m.) London, October 12. The Bulgarians v began the attack on Servia at Gariboghaz, near Knjashevatz, on Monday at noon.
