Murmur, dam of Havoc, is one of the best brood mares in New Zealand, she having produced Havoc (4.36), Sonol (2.12), Hova (4.37), Highden (2.26), and Skylark (7.32 for 3 miles). Havoc has proved himself a great racehorse, winning over all distances. He won the Auckland Trotting Cup as a three-year-old in 4.57, Piuinpton 4.46, King George 4.47; second to Emmeline in 2.15, and second to King Cole in 4.31, in which race he had to break an Australasian record.
