LOCAL AND GENERAL.
The “Patriotic Market” which is this Week being managed by Mesdarries Boon. Budge, and C. Robinson will be open to-morrow in new premises, those recently occupied by Mrs Brooking as tea rooms, Broadway. The Eltlinm Queen Carnival resulted in the election of Miss Belcher, Farmers’ candidate. The approximate result of the carnival is £3OOO, which is a very creditable showing for a small town.—P.A.
