The weekly parade of "D"'Company Xlth Regiment is cancelled. A Press Association telegram today from Auckland states that Charles Corrin, a schoolboy, who was injured by a fall at Birkdale, died in the Hospital on Sunday. The Christchureh Press Association telegram this morning states that Robert Laskey, aged 16, was killed near llangiora yesterday through the motor cycle ,which he was riding for the first time overturning. A fire at Devonport gutted a sevenroomed house owned by George !'. Maunder and occupied by .lames Sanderson. Old theatregoers will he sure to .renew acquantance with the characters made famous, by the late Johlv Sheridan as the "Widdy O'Brien." arid to hear the latest songs, dances, and sketches which have been introduced into the evening's entertainment, while those of the vovmger generation who are so unfortunate as to be absent will most probably forever regret missing , the opportunity of witnessing Mr Stephenson's company in this amusing play.
